A little bit about me and my photography style…

Thank you for taking an interest in my art…I'm truly blessed to get to do what I love!  I bring a natural and fresh style to my photography and find the beauty in the simple. I see photography as storytelling, capturing your story moment by moment.   I love finding new and different places to photograph in and enjoy getting to know different people everyday. My photography is made up of a mixture of journalistic and casually posed pictures.

I graduated in December 2004, from the University of Central Oklahoma, with a bachelors degree in Photo-journalism. I started out working for a company doing graphic design and photography.  A couple of years later, I took a huge risk and ventured out on my own.  It was the scariest but best move I had ever made.  My business has grown incredibly since I began seven years ago.  I couldn't have done it without all the support from friends and family. My husband, Daniel, joined me a few years ago.   He does a lot of the business side and assist me at some weddings.

When I'm not taking photographs, I love spending time with my husband and our daughter, Juniper. Riding bikes, traveling and coffee are a few things I can't live without.   I love being outside and enjoying this beautiful world that God has given us.   You will often find me watching Harold and Maude, listening to Bob Dylan, or reading old books.  I'm very passionate about the environment and love finding new ways to keep the earth beautiful.
